Our Purpose is Simple: To protect the American family as God intended—where children are welcomed into life and raised by parents who stay together through thick and thin, where modesty is appreciated and sex within marriage is the norm, where grandparents are treated with dignity and respect, where neighborhood schools offer a quality education that honors Judeo-Christian ideals, where houses of worship thrive, where the federal and state courts are subordinate—not superior—to the United States Constitution and the Constitutions of the various states, and where laws and public policy encourage Americans to work, to save, to marry, and to live with the virtues they learned at home.

Who We Are: As the legislative action arm of the Values Advocacy Council, the VAC Action champions life, faith, and marriage in the public square. We provide a platform for informing, inspiring, and rallying those who care deeply about the family to greater involvement in the public policy process.

Help our Children: Currently any age child can access hard core pornography at San Jose City Libraries with 2 clicks on the computer mouse. There are no controls to prohibit the viewing of pornography for children or adults. Help protect our children from pornography or obscene images in our libraries. Click here to help qualify a measure for the 2010 election that will protect our children and grandchildren. It makes sense. Children are protected on their home and school computers. Why should they be able to view pornography on the public library computers?

Stand-up for Marriage: Thirty states have passed State Constitutional Amendments to define marriage as between a man and a woman. In 2008, California voters passed Proposition 8. An historic court battle to determine whether or not a majority of people have the right to define marriage in their own state is underway in the Federal Courts.
